Event Description

Bradley Shelver, Artistic Director of the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group NY, announces that Eric Trope and Lindsay Grimes have been selected to create new ballets for the Company, to be premiered at their February 2023 NYC season. Selected from over 100 applicants, Trope and Grimes will receive the creative time and space to produce a new work for the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, as well as a stipend of $2500 for the rehearsal period, which will take place over a four-week period. The February 2023 season will feature their works along with a premiere by Bradley Shelver.
