The Company returns to the NYC stage this Spring with its first major season since 2006, presenting a diverse repertory that includes the debut of three new works created especially for this season by Artistic Director Igal Perry, and NYC-based guest choreographersKristin Sudeikis and Sidra Bell.
Perry's new work, to Henryk Górecki's String Quartet # 3, will feature a live quartet led by cellist Nan-Cheng Chen. In addition the Company will present Perry's "profoundly memorable" El Amor Brujo, music by Manuel de Falla, which premiered in collaboration with PostClassical Ensemble to sold-out audiences in Washington, DC. PostClassical Ensemble's Angel Gil-Ordóñez will conduct a live orchestra, featuring Marija Temo, Flamenco singer. Joining the company for the opening weekend in a solo choreographed by Perry for this occasion, will be incomparable guest star Jose Manuel Carreño, former principal dancer at American Ballet Theater!
There will be a very special "Afternoon in Spain" matinee performance on Sunday, May 6, at 2:30pm. Experience Flamenco Culture through dance, music, and film as Peridance Contemporary Dance Company is joined by renowned Flamenco artists and scholars, including Flamenco scholar Brook Zern and novelist Antonio Munoz-Molina, for an intimate performance and discussion. Produced in collaboration with the Spanish Consulate and PostClassical Ensemble.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
