Event Description

New Dance Alliance in association with Joyce SoHo presents the 26^th Annual Performance Mix Festival, six days, thirteen events and twenty eclectic experimental dance and performance artists. Many will give us a first time look at new work. These artists include luciana achugar, Karen Bernard, Nami Yamamoto (USA), Daniel Linehan (USA/Belgium) and Marie Brassard in collaboration with Sarah Williams (Quebec). Another first is the presentation of artists from Poland, Karol Tyminski and Marta Ziolek in collaboration with Florentina Holzinger.

Performance Mix Festival promotes interdisciplinary work through performances, informal artist/audience receptions and special events. Our platform includes short and longer works, some of which will have multiple performances. The variety of activities provides numerous portals through which to experience the work of new and seasoned artists.http://www.newdancealliance.org
