FEB 18 - 21, 2016
presented by LEIMAY at BAM Fisher
After the critically-acclaimed BECOMING-corpus (2013) at BAM, LEIMAY returns with the sequel, borders. Sound, light, voice, and movement orbit, collide, fuse, and repel to create a hauntingly evocative landscape of bodies turned inside out. Shige Moriya and Ximena Garnica envelops audiences in a universe at the thresholds of itself, setting stillness against high physicality, visceral vocalizations against sonic harmonies, and dissolving forms through walls of light and mutable axes of space. The world premiere also coincides with the release of a publication tracing LEIMAY’s creative process.
Thursday, Feb 18, 8pm: Performance & Opening Night Reception, & Publication Release
Friday, Feb 19, 8pm: Performance & Post-Show Conversation
Saturday, Feb 20, 8pm: Performance & Pre-Show Conversation (6:30pm)*
Sunday, Feb 21, 6pm: Performance & Closing Night Toast
*There is also a LEIMAY LUDUS Workshop in the afternoon at 12pm at BAM Fisher. You can also register for this at the ticket page.

Humans exploring collaboration, coops, hybrid art, dance, embodiment, cognition, tech-science, networks, post-humanism and culture.
WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
