Iain Gardner, an animation artist from Scotland, will talk about his recent experiences collaborating on Juraj Korec's 'h a b i t a t', examining the connections between animation and dance and what is like for an animator to be a dancer. He will describe his working practice whilst in Dresden for the Dance production 2010 “Promoting young talent” realised by Tanzplan Dresden and will attempt to examine the long symmetry of animation and dance since the birth of cinema itself!
