Kònic thtr is an artistic platform based in Barcelona dedicated to contemporary creation at the confluence between arts, new technologies and science. The main activity beeing focused on the application of interactive technologies to artistic projects.

This seminar aims at the creation of a workshop-­‐laboratory to study the relation between stage writing and audiovisual languages. An interdisciplinary workshop that brings together performance and installation, and researches the links between movement, word, video, sound and digital data interacting on stage in real time, inducing collaborative scenic processes based on interactive communication devices. Exploring the interactive relations body–technology–society and the embodiment of new technologies, its dramatic and choreographic definition on stage.

Konic thtr invites choreographers, directors, performers, musicians, producers, and digital artists, so that all parts get a feed back that can be used to create stage pieces with an autonomous and multidisciplinary artistic value.

Structure: We will alternate theoretical sessions with practical sessions using available tools brought by Konic thtr. Viewing of artistic works created by Kònic Thtr, will conduct the participants in the understanding of artistic and technologic languages proposed in the workshop.

PERFORMANCE

A {d’Aigua} is a short performance for a dancer, a performer and a musician composing audiovisual environment in real time. Water is the theme around which we will build the contents of the piece. Water as a fluid, as a necessity, and also as a link between all life forms. A gift of nature, which we have to defend and protect.
