ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

"A 2 Beyond"

Moving from A to B sounds simple and easy. But what if we decide to link A to B - never broken always connected - and assume the journey? How difficult is it to maintain the flow while moving? and how can flow become the momentum that takes us from "A 2 Beyond"?

ABOUT TAKWEEN

Takween - Beirut Contemporary Dance School
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH COMPANY SASHA WALTZ & GUESTS and SAREYYET RAMALLAH
In collaboration with DANSGROEP AMSTERDAM & MANCOPY DANSKOMPAGNI

TAKWEEN-BCDS is an intensive dance-training program for young artists who are serious about pursuing professional careers in contemporary dance. This full-time intensive training program is
offered over a period of months at Maqamat Dance Studio in Beirut, Lebanon. Designed to produce highly skilled, creative and intellectually curious dance artists, TAKWEEN-BCDS encourages
students to take ownership of their training and the direction of their careers. The annual, three-month program consists of full-time physical dance training with professional teachers and
choreographers alongside courses in both choreographic composition and conceptual thinking.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
