Internacional Videodance Festival of Chile

FIVC 09 presents a panoramic one of the world-wide production of videodance through the work projection of national and international artists, like part of selections realised by different European and Latin American festivals of videodance, and of the special selection of Caida Libre under the curatorship of Brisa MP.

The festival will develop different activities with national producers in conferences, will be realised workshops and the section “Open Screen”, that will exhibit works long play of Cinema-dance and compilations in which they emphasize the DVD of the “Circuit of Videodance of the Mercosur” with works of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay and the compiled of independent Videodance “VD Made in Chile” among others.

With the aim of occupying the public spaces the FIVC Santiago will be developed in the Mulato Gil de Castro Square, located in street Lastarria 307, under the sponsorship of the MAVI Museum of Visual Arts, from 7 to the 10 of January.

The FIVC Valparaiso will be realised the 14 to 17 of January in the Extension Center of the Council of Culture located in Sotomayor Square 233.

The Festival of Videodance of Chile has character of “not competition”, is open to all public and with free entrance.
