Event Description

The University of Illinois’ David Goodman MemorialIllinois Japan Performing Arts Network (IJPAN), with the generous support of the Japan Foundation’s Center for Global Partnership, seeks proposals for up to four interactive internet-enabled performing arts events to be produced during the 2012-13 academic year.  We welcome proposals in music, theatre, dance and multi-media performance. The performance must involve artists and/or art forms from or with links to Japan, and we strongly encourage proposals for which multi-site collaboration is a key component.  Up to four proposals will receive substantial funding to enable production as well as technical support. We expect that successful proposals will result in IJPAN events to be performed at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign (and other co-located sites) and streamed live via the IJPAN website. Deadline is March 16th. Full information on the IJPAN website, and on the linked file. IJPAN_call_for_proposals_2012.pdf

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
