Event Description

As a part of the activities related to Mes de Danza in Seville there will be on 20th November a presentation of Costa Contemporánea: Contemporary Dance and Performing Arts Festival.

The presentationwill be followed by the screening of a selection of videodances created by Yara Paz, Tristana Castilla, Rubén Hernández and Gwladys Le Calvez during the videodance workshop held at the festival this year.

The videodance workshop was led by Ana Cembrero (filmmaker and choreographer) and Jorge Piquer (director of photography and filmmaker). La Ignorancia dance film music.

They are authors of many successfull videofilms, shortfilms and installations. A good example of this is the international award-winning videodance Cinética filmed in Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Níjar. Both Ana and Jorge live and work in Brussels.

At Costa Contemporánea 2012 La Ignorancia has led an audiovisual workshop where the participants have discovered and explored their personal creativity and the relationship between dance and film in order to carry out a dance video with the natural settings of the Natural Park and the Mediterranean Coast.
