Vertiginous Movement is about exploring interactive relationships between dancers/choreographers and performance-makers and the media (video): instructors from post theatre (Berlin/Tokyo) will brainstorm ideas and demonstrate different possibilities using common technology (video projection, laptops and handheld video cameras), in order to help participants generate ideas for future projects.
Therefore, the post theatre will subvert the usual placement on the image by working with the video on the floor. They are interested in investigating ways of creating a haptic relationship between the video and the performer, and will demonstrate a variety of possible approaches to incorporating new media into performances of various genres.
For workshop description, and Skype interview with Max Schumacher of post theatre, go to: http://www.dnadance.org/site/page-02permanent-classespermanent-classes/workshops/vertiginous-movement/

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
