dell’Arte Opera Ensemble presents the next segment of the company’s August 2016 Season – Violetta & her Sisters – Chansons de Baudelaire on August 27 at 2pm. Chansons features song settings of the great 19th century French poet Baudelaire by Debussy, Duparc, Fauré, Vierne, d’Indy, Charles Loeffler, Judith Lang Zaimont & Ellen Mandel, plus piano works of Hahn and Godard.

dell’Arte Opera Ensemble August 2016 Season – Violetta & her Sisters – also features Giuseppe Verdi’s La traviata, Jules Massenet’s Manon, and a semi-staged Scenes from the demi-monde, with excerpts from Puccini’s La Rondine and Leoncavallo’s La bohème.
