DWF2013 - FROM AUGUST 26 TO SEPTEMBER 1 

DANCEWOODS WORKSHOP FESTIVAL is a one week residency consisting of a deconstruction of the conventional schemes of education in contemporary dance. About 40 artists from various parts of the world will live together and immerse themselves in dance through workshops and activities that stimulate creation and artistic expression.

The unfolding of the activities enhances a great conviviality where one may indulge in the simple lifestyle of healthy food, agriculture, countryside and local artists. Ultimately, it is a meeting place for thoughts and ideas that generate art. This is a place where people will all live together, sharing day after day, giving value to new ideas and propositions and new influences contemporary dance.

Scholarships

There are 2 scholarships available for young dancers and choreographers from all around the world. Applications must be received by30 March 2013. To apply download the application for scholarship and the application form here.

REGISTRATIONS:

Cost
Workshops + meals + accommodation = €370 per person

This includes all workshops, activities and performances / breakfast, lunch and dinner from Monday to Sunday (until lunch) / accommodation in dormitories with bunk beds and shared bathrooms from Sunday 25 until Saturday 31 (it is possible to stay an extra night for an additional fee). We recommend that you bring a sleeping bag or sheets. There is a possibility to sleep in a tent to be provided by the participant.
