The performance art depot in Mainz is currently searching artists for our dance-weekend.
pad is a performance facility and location for modern theatrical forms and offers selected guest groups from Germany and elsewhere the possibility to present their work since 2007.
From 10th to 13th of July 2014 we are hosting a weekend full of selected projects with the focus on contemporary dance.
Applications can be sent to our post address or via E-mail.
Application deadline ends on the 20th of April 2014 !
Next to a short summary of the project and the technical details, we need documentary material (Video) in form of a DVD or a link to platforms like youtube or vimeo.
We can pay travel costs and a small expense allowance.
Furthermore we offer:
- The opportunity to present your project within the scope of a curated program in front of an interested audience. (trustees and dramaturges are also invited).
- Your performance within the event, which is widely advertised by Flyers and the press.
- The possibility to perform again in our facility, e.g. within the range of an artist-in-residence-program or in direct cooperation with the pad-administration in form of a Schmitt&Schulz production.
Attention: We are also happy to receive information material from artists/groups that are not able to perform at the moment, but are interested in a future cooperation.
If you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
