The use of new technologies in dance, performance and art in general, is leading the development of new materials for the artist , as well as new technology for scientific applications .
The main objective of this course is to train students in some of these new technologies to develop their own project. The character of the course is theoretical and practical : first the state -of-art will be discussed in the use of technology in dance and the different families of sensors and actuators estudianrán common and the main concepts of a system control. Practically, will be taught using drivers as Arduino, interactive graphical programming environments such as Processing, or languages as Puredata interactive sound composition .
Several working groups to carry out a project between technicians and performers who will be presented as course work will be created. The artistic content of these projects is the reinterpretation of classic myths , as part of the creative process of the European project Crossing Stages.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
