Header Cynetart 2010

The 14th edition of the international festival for computer-aided art CYNETART will run from 11th to 17th November 2010 in the Festspielhaus Hellerau, Dresden (Germany).

It will open with the celebratory award ceremony of the CYNETART competition. Trans-Media-Akademie Hellerau hosts this international competition of CYNETART, inviting artists and art groups to present their projects every two years. During December 2009 and March 2010 more than 250 artist from 25 countries followed the "Call for Entries" and applied with their projects for the competition 2010. An international jury with representatives from well-established media culture institutions and experienced scientists with a background in media art history will decide about the winner of the CYNETART-award, the sponsorship award and on the award of the artist-in-residence-scholarship funded by the ministry of culture.
