Event Description

WHEN BODY AND SPACE COLLIDE

This collision is experienced through a process of awakening our kinesthetic intelligence and spatial awareness. It begins by exploring and understanding through movement improvisation and imagery the internal landscape and function of our body (bones, muscles, articulations etc.).

This internal awareness then evolves and informs our flow, dynamic and energy in relationship to space, our external landscape. Through the use of imagery and sensation, we will deepen our movement and performance skills.
We will discover new ways to impact, transform and compliment our dancing.
The goal is to establish a heightened sense of awareness and focus built from the inside out. Our perceptions of body and space become alive, our intentions are clear, and we play and collide with ease and grace.

Open to all levels!
