Chris Ferris & Dancers are excited to premiere the full evening dance work Proximity Of Clouds. This atmospheric and moving work is choreographed by Chris Ferris and takes the sculptural sets by Warren Kloner into hand and motion. These sculptures hang, swing, slash, glow, and illuminate creating ethereal forms, a forest of moving architecture, and corporeal presences. Original music is performed live and recorded by Andrew Drury and Jeff Kerestes (Fri., Sat., and Sun.); and Loren Kiyoshi Dempster (Sat. and Sun.). The dancers defining and consuming space are Katie Aggen, Erin Delucia Benson, Melissa Brading, Grace DiLorenzo, Dana Doggett, Chris Ferris (Sat.), Haley Hauglum, Kristen Mangione, and Hannah Seidel. Patti Gilstrap’s costumes will enhance the sculptural elements of the bodies and Carrie Wood’s lighting designs will create an atmosphere of color; and day and night.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
