A huge hit at The Joyce in 2010, Camille A. Brown & Dancers return to The Joyce Theater from January 27-29, 2012 with “The Groove To Nobody's Business” and “Been There, Done That,” a duet filled with “Brown’s considerable and effortless humor (The Boston Globe),” among other works. The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue (at 19th Street), NYC. Tickets are $10-39 and are available by phone at 212-242-0800 or Joyce.org.
Camille A. Brown is noted for mixing modern dance techniques with West African dance and hip-hop elements to produce “focused bursts of energy and frozen positions that explode into motion” (The New York Times). The company’s three performances at The Joyce Theater will include Ms. Brown’s dances “The Evolution of a Secured Feminine;” “The Groove To Nobody's Business” featuring guest artists Christopher Huggins and Matthew Rushing; “Been There, Done That;” sections from “Mr. TOL E. RAncE,” a new work in development to premiere in 2012/2013; as well as a new solo performed by Carmen de Lavallade.
Camille A. Brown & Dancers will perform January 27-29, 2012 at The Joyce Theater, with shows on Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday at 7:30pm. The Joyce Theater is located at 175 Eighth Avenue (at 19th Street), NYC. Tickets begin at $10 and are available by calling JoyceCharge at 212-242-0800, in person at the Box Office (Monday-Friday, 12-6pm), or online by visiting Joyce.org.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
