The Korean Cultural Service New York (KCSNY) provides an opportunity for talented performers/performing art groups and organizations to showcase their art in New York City through the 2014 – 2015 Open Stage public contest. Open Stage was first introduced in 2012 by KCSNY to support various cultural and artistic expression of talented artists to the wide New York audience. Performers of all ages, backgrounds, and genres such as classical music, dance, traditional music, theater, jazz, and etc. are encouraged to apply. Accepted performers/performing art groups will be able to co-host the event and be featured in one performing arts series at the Gallery Korea in the Korean Cultural Service New York or at the Theatre in the Flushing Town Hall. The deadline to submit the application for 2014 – 2015 Open Stage is by 5 pm, June 27, 2014 EDT.
