About Vangeline:
As a Butoh artist and the Artistic Director of the Vangeline Theater in NYC for the past ten years,Vangeline has taught Butoh workshops and has lectured at Cornell University, New York University, Brooklyn College, Bayview Correctional Facility to name a few. She has taught incarcerated women, high school students, MFA students, senior citizens, dancers, actors, adult beginners. Among Vangeline's teachers are the renowned Butoh masters Diego Pinon from the Butoh Ritual Mexicano, Yoshito Ohno, Akira Kasai, Yumiko Yushioka, Ko Murobushi, Daisuke Yoshimoto, Tetsuro Fukuhara, and Katsura Kan.
