Event Description

Ashley A. Friend: The Contemporary Dance Core .tcdc. (NYC) returns to Joyce SoHo with the world premieres of the solo Honey Flat and the group piece I Hate John. April 8-10 at 8pm and April 11 at 3pm. General tickets $18, students and seniors $15.

Honey Flat is inspired by Friends independent journey traversing the USA for nine months and observing the various personalities and diverse terrain of the road. The evening will also include I Hate John, a careful look at the frustrations and possible joys of isolation, solitude, and being left behind. Third time collaboration with live original music composition by David Morneau. Unique set design by Simon Cleveland. Lighting design developed with Adam Greene's extraordinary perspective. Awesome assistance with set and lighting by Joe Novak.
