Gutter ‘Halfway Between the Gallery and the Street’ is a week long exhibition of graffiti, street art, fine art with sculpture, paintings, prints, walls and more. During the course of the exhibition there will also be professional workshops in graffiti, screen printing and break-dancing.
The exhibition is to run from the 4th to the 12th of July and is in massive 3500sqft warehouse in Hackney Wick, East London. The opening event on the 4th and a closing event on the 12th are set to be EXTRAVAGANZAS of Art, Graffiti and Hip Hop culture. There will be LIVE painting and screen printing, LIVE MC’s, Hip Hop DJ’s, beat boxing, body popping, break dancing and clown dancing.
Street/Graffiti artists include Aesop, AliHamish Campbell, ALO, Asboluv, Ben Oakley, BETA, Blair Zaye, BoxHead, Carne Griffiths, Dan Kitchener, Dale Grimshaw, Djalouz, Darren West, DMC, Elbone, ESKA, Frets, GOIN, Infinity Bunce, Andy Hamilton, Jimmy South, KEF!, Kymberly O'Carroll-Fitzpatrick, Loes van Delft, Matthew Knight, Mydogsighs, Natcho, NME, Parlee, Pesca, Pistol, Roots, Sean Worrall, Snik Arts, SNUB23, Soured J, SPZero76, Team Robbo, Inkie, Tony Driver, VanDali01, Verz.
With a internationally renowned group of over 40 street and graffiti artists both famous and infamous in their own right on the bill we are now looking for screen printers, b-boys and girls, MC’s, beatboxers to join us and show the world what they can do.
This is a fantastic opportunity for exposure to a wider audience of artists, galleries, curators, promoters, sponsors and arts, graffiti and Hip Hop enthusiasts and the general public alike.
We are also looking for people to join the team help out on the night and with promotion.
