Event Description

“A +, Cosas que nunca te conté” is a play using the contemporary language of danced theatre, circus and video items to bring up the urban nomadism of the 21st century.
The point is not about a collective nomadism but about the individual and inner journey of 5 characters.
A caravan is used as a symbol of utopia, freedom and transit, of this no man’s land between expulsion of origins and an uncertain future. A caravan used as a projection screen taking us to different levels of reality.
Why are we thinking like Maalouf does, that human beings are not trees? We don’t have any roots, we have feet and origins and these origins are so fluctuant and irregular, like a path.
“A +, Cosas que nunca te conté” tells us about the illusion of freedom when one chooses another way, looking for something different.
But maybe is it question of the flight of our past, of these inner and hidden worlds, about what one doesn’t say when he is leaving: his paradise, his purgatory and his devils.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
