Workshop Interactive Dance Film @ Cinedans
Reshaping dance film with interaction and installations
30 June - 4 July 2008

Together with the Cinedans Festival, Mediamatic presents a hands-on workshop on interactive dance film focusing on film installations. Play with the dynamics of bodies, interactive users and the camera and learn to use the powerful and versatile Korsakow System. Participants are coached by renown trainers such as David Hinton and Simon Fildes, and supported by smart assistants as they develop a screen-based or spatial interaction concept and create a working prototype.
Participants
The workshop is designed for a maximum of 16 (dance) filmmakers, artists, video-artists, editors. Choreographers can participate if they have experience with making dance films. Please note that workshop participants should be residents of the EU.
We have a scholarship available for someone from a new EU country.
Procedure for application: Send us an email workshops [at] mediamatic.net with your motivation and CV and you will be informed if you have been selected for a scholarship.
