About Me (human):
I am a profesional dancer and choreographer. With a master degree in Sociology of Multiculturality, I have been dedicated to research about the origins of gestures and the rights over the corporal memory. I have lived , studied and worked as a performer in many different cultural settings including Mexico , England, France, Dubai and Greece. Together with my passion for improvisation, i perform afrocuban sacred Yoruba dances, congo, arabic, gypsy, rumba flamenca and most of the traditional dances from southamerica and africa.I also know by heart salsa, merengue, mambo, chachacha ect but given the commercialization of them, my work is mainly performing traditional dances from around the world. I started as a dancer since around 5 years old in Havana, Cuba where i was born. Since the age of 18 also i have been around the world travelling and dancing with people from countless nationalities and backgrounds, learning their gestures and sharing my knowledge.

How do you train yourself or your performers. How do you approach your embodied practices? what kind of technique do you use?
Researching about anatomy and movements have allowed me to explore the capabilities of my body and its interaction with time and space. As a traditional dancer i have learned about anthropology of gestures. I rehearsal and perform in solos, duos, groups ect. My personnal approach when dancing is basically the respect of the traditions, and alots of emphasis in sacred geometry and the body relationship with the universe.
