About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
I am a musician/composer/dancer/new media artist who is passionate about creating performative contexts and online vestiges, which challenge the boundaries between artforms, cultures and the constructed boundaries between tradition and innovation. I have imbued myself in the Egyptian rhythm language through Hilal Dance, an Egyptian contemporary dance form developed by Suraya Hilal, and studying drumming with master drummer Ibrahim el Minyawi. I continue to teach and draw on these traditions to develop multi artform improvisational practices and performances. I believe in performative experiences as a means of effecting change through emergent consciousness and proactive creative evolution. It is the essence of being human. I am currently completing a Master of Teaching through UWA focussing on the importance of rhythm in all learning areas. I record and release music with the project name Mahri Autumn and I teach rhythm, drumming and dance to children, young people and adults. Facilitating integrated and encompassing creative experiences is my passion.

Humans exploring collaboration, coops, hybrid art, dance, embodiment, cognition, tech-science, networks, post-humanism and culture.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
